My name is Joey Testa, and I’m the proud owner of Testa Care Heating and Air, LLC. Since 2016, I’ve specialized in residential air conditioning and heating—handling everything from repairs and replacements to system enhancements and preventive maintenance. I started this company with a simple mission: to provide honest, high-quality HVAC services that homeowners can trust.

 

When you hire Testa Care, you’re hiring me. Every job I take on is personally managed and completed by me unless additional help is needed. You’re not getting a random crew or sub-contractor—you’re getting a licensed HVAC professional who takes pride in every detail of the work.

Licensing & Professional Credentials

H3-C2 State HVAC License (North Carolina)

This license allows me to legally perform major HVAC repairs and replacements in residential homes. It required over 4,000 verified hours in the field and passing one of the most rigorous licensing exams in the country.

HVAC/R Certified Instructor at NASCAR/Universal Technical Institute

I don’t just work in the trade—I teach it. I train up to 30 students at a time, guiding them from zero knowledge to skilled professionals. This role demands ongoing education and up-to-date expertise across all aspects of HVAC.

EPA Section 608 Type II Certification

I’m fully certified to handle refrigerants, including freon repairs, replacements, and refills, in residential systems.

Experienced Business Owner

I previously built and successfully sold another HVAC company. I understand what it takes to run a business the right way—with integrity, service, and satisfied customers at the core.
